Funding Acknowledgement

The information collection and analyses for the current project were made possible with funding provided by the NSF GRANTED program (Award No. 2324520). This project titled “Research Developers as Hubs of Support to Launch and Level Up Faculty’s Research Careers and Nurturing Institutional Ecosystems” was supported by a GRANTED Convenings grant.

With this funding, the project team explored ways that the Research Development (RD) knowledgebase could be utilized by various institutional stakeholders to the benefit of supporting early-career faculty. A particular focus was on individuals without formal RD positions, such as those working in Research Administration (RA), those who mentor early-career faculty (such as senior faculty and administrators), and others charged with creating and growing their institution’s research enterprise.
